Apprentices at Heritage Marine Foundation find themselves working in various environments, such as commercial operations ashore and afloat.
Currently our Apprentices are working alongside partner organisations. This has seen them working onboard the rigging maintenance contracts for ships such as the Cutty Sark and HMS Gannet, as well as working on traditional vessels in the boatyard. recently the apprentices have been working on a dedicated new build commissioned as a training project (see below)
